hassling people on this visa seems kind of counterintuitive, doesn’t it? The ED visa is abused to heck, but DTV is specifically for people who are digital nomads and want to make it official. I suppose the Muay Thai element could open it to abuse, but still….

my typical point of entry is Phuket. I’m applying for DTV over next two weeks. I’ll update the group if anything happens.

I'll be applying from HCMC next week, hopefully. I am a bit nervous though. I have the necessary funds. Moved more than enough from index funds in my UK Vanguard S&S ISA that I sold off (thankfully before the crash). However, I am nervous about two things:

1. I am currently resolving a pending dissolution on my ltd company due to a tax issue. I'm not sure how fast the UK government is to resolve this kind of thing, so if the embassy checked the company status, it wouldn't look good.

2. My income hasn't been very impressive for the last like 10 months, but I do have some regular contracted work now. It should look better and more consistent now, but I don't want to wait any longer for this visa. I am tired of being forced to use visa exemption periods in various countries.

Fingers crossed and I'll probably post an update in this group if I succeed.

And where did you apply? I’m about to apply from HCMC and I don’t know how long to book. Watching.
