it depends on your own passport and whether you need a visa or not for that country. You could go to Laos, Cambodia (only by plane), Malasia, Myanmar or even to Singapore, Korea, etc.

Don't waste your time. Just cross the border, in and out in 10 minutes and then you get 180 more days.

If you have a card, try using it to buy anything at the convenience store or McDonald's. It if works, then your account ISN'T frozen.

Check the stamp on your passport. It says until when you're allowed say stay without needing to inform anyone. Normally 180 days.

Yes! And so Thais also can pay with their own apps when visiting their countries.

(Although such partnership seems to exist only between East and South East Asian countries only, not the US or Europe, Australia, etc.)

No. Not at all. I don't have a Thai bank account and have been using PromtPay for over a year. I haven't tried with the TrueMoney app yet (as I opened it like one month ago), but I use the native app from my home country bank to pay the Prompt Pay and it works well 🤷🏻
