Do I need to inform Thai authorities if I decide to extend my stay for 4 months on a DTV?

Hi, I got the DTV with a flight ticket that now I will need to extend. Should I inform the Thai authorities that I will stay 4 months instead of 1 as planned when I applied for the visa?

Or am I fine until the 90 day report thing?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When entering Thailand on a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa), you typically receive a stamp that allows you to stay for 180 days without needing to inform the authorities about your stay. However, if you remain in Thailand for more than 90 consecutive days, you must complete a 90-day report to notify immigration of your continued stay. Therefore, unless your situation changes or you require a visa extension, you generally do not need to inform the Thai authorities proactively at this stage.

Check the stamp on your passport. It says until when you're allowed say stay without needing to inform anyone. Normally 180 days.

When you entered you got a stamp allowing you to stay for 180 days. You can stay for that length of time.

If you stay more than 90 consecutive days in Thailand then you must notify immigration- a 90 day report.
