TLDR : Answer Summary
When you hold a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) for 6 months and leave Thailand after 3 months, you can receive a new 6-month stamp upon returning, regardless of the time spent in the country prior to leaving. Each entry into Thailand with a multiple-entry visa, including the DTV, grants you a fresh 180-day visa stamp, as long as your visa is still valid. Therefore, returning before the expiration of your initial visa period will allow you to obtain another full 6 months.
Yes every time you return you get stamped in for 6 months
Pro tip: if you strategically do your last out/in in the last days of your 5 year visa you can obtain 6 more moths even if it’s after the expiration date
You get another 6 months each time you come into Thailand. If come in, get a 6 month stamp, leave for a week after staying just a week, you will get another 6 months when you come back.
EVERY entry into Thailand with a multiple entry visa gives you the full amount of days that visa provides. So with a DTV you'll get a brand new 180 day stamp every time you enter until the expiration date on your visa.
