You are on DTV (6months at one go as usual) and you have left Thailand after say 3 months only and now you are back on the 6th month, before the expiry of the 1st 6 months given originally, will they re stamp the passport for another 6 month? I may stay less

TLDR : Answer Summary
When you hold a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) for 6 months and leave Thailand after 3 months, you can receive a new 6-month stamp upon returning, regardless of the time spent in the country prior to leaving. Each entry into Thailand with a multiple-entry visa, including the DTV, grants you a fresh 180-day visa stamp, as long as your visa is still valid. Therefore, returning before the expiration of your initial visa period will allow you to obtain another full 6 months.

Different stays are NOT cumulative. You get 180 days upon EACH entry.

Yes every time you return you get stamped in for 6 months

Pro tip: if you strategically do your last out/in in the last days of your 5 year visa you can obtain 6 more moths even if it’s after the expiration date

Anonymous participant people do it all the time with the 6 month METV visa

Do a out/in in the last 3 days before expiration they get 3 more months

So a 6 month visa is 9 months

Sabai sabai and do it the Thai way
DTV_Be*******
Anonymous participant as long as you strategically do you last Out/In in the last days before the expiration date

If you mess that up then no

It’s up to you and your planning

You're on a 5 year Visa. Not a 6mo visa. Come and go as many times as you want within 5 years.

You get another 6 months each time you come into Thailand. If come in, get a 6 month stamp, leave for a week after staying just a week, you will get another 6 months when you come back.

EVERY entry into Thailand with a multiple entry visa gives you the full amount of days that visa provides. So with a DTV you'll get a brand new 180 day stamp every time you enter until the expiration date on your visa.
