Is health insurance necessary to buy if I have a DTV visa already.
As I saw chat GPT is saying it’s compulsory otherwise in the next entry they can deny entry … Please suggest if other people are also having health insurance with DTV

TLDR : Answer Summary
Health insurance is not compulsory for holders of a DTV visa in Thailand, but it is highly recommended due to the risk of accidents and health issues. Multiple respondents agree that while insurance isn't a requirement of the visa itself, it is considered a responsible choice for personal safety. Suggestions include seeking nomad insurance as an alternative to local coverage. Despite the conversation around the necessity of insurance, it’s clear that having health insurance is deemed a sensible decision for expats.
