it appears that the 90 days Single and 1-year Multiple Entry Non-Imm-O Visa for the purpose of retirement, has been discontinued by the embassy in Washington DC and all consulates of Thailand inside the USA
yes, latest reports indicate it. You should however ask a visa-run company, if they can circumvent it by an extra payment (like they practise on some Cambodian border points) and if they do it for said company, all well. However what speaks against a few days holidaying in Malaysia?
it does nowwhere say, 30 day extension not possible. So the flight date should not be relevant whether you can A extend for 30 more days and still proove a flight out within this period,, or B change the flight within the admitted time (23 rd of march)
dear Oriol, you do not have a "visa", you have a so called "30-day visa-exempt entry". You can extend the "admitted stay" on any Immigration office for a fee of 1900 THB. You do not need any appointment for a visit to immigration, but there might be some waiting time in the queue. Just bring you passport, the money, 2 passport size photos (some offices now take them digitally at the desk) and a proof of where you are staying, and the filled out application for a 30 day extension (the offices got the forms)
since you are asking for a renewal of your O/A omitted stay, only the 12 companies listed on the tgia insurers list, are accepted for an extension. And their policies all include both outpatient and inpatient already
everything from Number 7. on, on this paper, you do not need when you apply for a Non-Imm-O Visa based on marriage either 90 days SE or Multi Entry 1-year on the consulates of Savannakhet or Ho Chi Minh. In Vietnam you have to pay the visa fee with crisp clean US dollars, though. No proof of financials needed in these two consulates
he will have to pay the overstay at Phuket airport, if he follows your advice. Despite this being his fastest way out, regarding he already is in Phuket
I would not worry overly much, a missing TM30 does not lead to a refusal of your next extension in March. You pay a fine and that's what is to it. And I suspect, since you made the reporting in October 2019, your TM30 info is correctly saved in their system, so if you lost the paper slip, it is not a big deal. Just show them the rental contract again, if you get asked for it
