I'll be applying for the non-o/a Visa through the Los Angeles consulate. my question is does the criminal background check certification need to be apostilled by the US Department of State?

Have a multi-entry non-a visa married to a thai, yes I got 15 months,expires 6th June. Can I go to a Immigration office and get 30 days extension or a land crossing. Need 1 or 2 months to finish a project
