Just book a cheap flight like I did to a local country near Thailand. I picked Singapore as o thought it might look a more realistic that I might go there after Thailand. Had no questions from anyone asked on it- just wanted to see the ticket.

Tony Cabello meaning I purchased a ticket out of Thailand to Singapore (cheap flight) 59 days from arrival (was never going to use it) but was told that on TR I needed to show it.

I arrived in December. I’m still here- living in Phuket permanently.

For the sake of a small amount of money it’s worth it for no hassle and ease of entry..
