there will be plenty of advice in this group on options to remain in Thailand as the spouse of a Thai. One is visa based on marriage, with proof of 400,000 tbt in a Thai bank. And also a retirement visa but that requires 800,000 in your Thai bank.

I don't use the Thai embassy pages but the UK Govt pages. Thought Aus Govt would tell it's people entry requirements.

Info should be on the Aus Govt website. But if you have Aus passport you get 60 days without a visa. Can extend for extra 30 days.

you asked about getting a visa. That's done before you arrive. OR enter on the visa exempt ( no visa) for 60 days. Nothing's changed you can still do that. It's not a visa.
