yes, because it's an extension of your "visa exempt" entry stamp. Can't extend something you don't have yet, so need to enter first.

yup. A very happy loving person, but I'm selective.

Not at all. I'm educated and knowledgeable. Perhaps if you did some reading of Govts rules, downloaded and checked out the facts, you'd stop posting your nonsense. But perhaps that doesn't fit whatever agenda you've got, so repeat like a parrot the silly stuff you've heard. 😆

Illegal immigrants don't get benefits 🤦. You've been reading the daily mail or listening to Farage. Asylum seekers are not illegal, and they get some assistance. . but I suggest you get your information from the correct factual source so you don't post stuff makes you look ridiculous. Your caps lock was on and might be best if you turn it off.

seems you're unaware of our benefits system and what we British can claim: unemployment benefits, top ups for low incomes, various allowances for disability, pension credit benefits, council tax benefits, industrial injury benefit etc etc. You may think that means people are sponging. I don't, but I know there's always going to be some Brits who play the system. fyi no Chang required.

people who sponge off the system in UK? They aren't tourists, they are our own folk. Lol.

OA has to maintain medical insurance from one of the few insurers they approve. The visa is linked to that. So as you plan to use retirement options and have the money to deposit I'd say the Non-O before you go is probably best.

once you've got your retirement visa to enter, it's easier to get bank account set up. You aren't forced to extend your stay. Not sure if the bank will check your status after that.

the visa is valid for 3 months from being issued to you. You must enter within the 3 months it's valid for. You will then be stamped in for whatever duration it's for.
