What can I do if my Non-O visa application is still pending approval just days before my flight to Thailand?

From UK we applied to London Embassy for Non O visa on 18 Nov and our status for both is Pending Approval. We have used Tourist Exempt previous years. We are now extremely anxious as we fly on 16 Dec! I have emailed and tried ringing multiple times from 2-5pm as they request but zero response! Is there anything else we can try?
