proof of leaving the country is a standard requirement airlines often impose. They can be made responsible for flying you back if you're denied entry. It's been like that for a very long time. And some countries also ask to see proof of leaving. If you want to know which ones you'll have to look them up.

I read it as return ticket due. Maybe not. Looks like too many exempt entries indicating he's not really a tourist. 🤷

he said they told him to buy "return ticket" so maybe no proof of leaving the country? Like most countries it's usually a requirement if you have no visa.

such a shame after you'd already paid for a visa too.

could you have asked to see supervisor/senior staff? If you've already paid for a visa.

not visa on arrival, don't follow those digs at airport! That's not for UK passport. You'll get Exempt Entry with no visa for 60 days.

you applied for a visa at an embassy but on entry you didn't check they'd used it for your entry? Did you show them your visa, in case they were unaware?

Visa is issued and you must use it to enter before June 7th. You then get the 90 days duration of stay.

it's passport that matters. German enters with no visa for 60 days.

Also Max McIntyre thinks it's laughable to use correct terminology. Strange people.
