My friend was asked at the airport for information regarding his Muay Thai. This was last month. He is not in this group. It does seem few get asked or random. I would just travel with some documentation just in case.

The embassies have said many times to not apply unless intended travel date is 3 months from application date.

I have access to cash. Just if sooner than 2 days I pay interest for one day. I never need more than $500 at anyone one time. We disagree it’s ok 👍🏽

investing also means money in interesting bearing accounts. I can have access to anything within 2 days. Also my investment account gives me access to cash just might be on margin if I need a large amount within one day

I could see 300-400 but 1500 is expensive and not a drop in rate. People look at it as part of visa cost. The figure 18,000 + 10,000 for visa not bad. But you probably have to do visa runs not extensions. I think the annual cost with annual is expensive

The doctor or workcation is better deal. Especially if you really need doctor dm treatment away.
