Several community members shared their experiences and recommendations for dental clinics for DTV-related needs in Thailand. "Bangkok Hospital" and "Smilebox Thonglor" were mentioned as viable options, emphasizing that while there is no specific clinic for DTV, finding a dentist who can provide a detailed treatment plan on official letterhead is crucial. Users were advised to avoid reliance on common referrals to minimize rejection risks and to ensure they receive necessary documentation without complications.
Any dentist is ok don't make it complicated. Just get a treatment plan on clinic or hospital letter head they don't check in fine detail start date included make it work for your application
Bangkok hospital . I have a dvt for dental and it needs to be place if they search the clinic and can see if the doc is on staff . I went to the bangs hospital got a complete plan . Then went to Europe and applied . Very easy had mine in a week . No questions or extra documentation needed
Bangkok Smile Dental denied me a letter, even after a consultation and treatment plan for replacing a failed root canal and getting two dental implants, work that will take about 9 months to complete. I'd look somewhere else...
Maybe, but I'd prefer a letter of support from a clinic. Because of the denial (and a few other things that happened in my exchange with them), I won't be using Bangkok Smile Dental for the implants, so will begin the process elsewhere, possibly using the suggestions made above.
There is no dental clinic dedicated to DTV. Just find a dentist and ask him to give you a schedule for your treatment (at least 6 months) with all the detail and cost. Also a date for your 1st appointment and a letter that says you are under their care. Add all the docs to your request and that's it!
