You stayed longer than 60 days is the short answer. They are not playing with tourists anymore. Luckily they didn’t stand over you and make you get a flight out of the country like they did to me

will only cause issues if you overstayed previously. If you ever need to, Priceline app gives you 48 hours to cancel any flights after booking (if you need to by immigration police)

that is amazing and exactly the situation I was in that caused my overstay 😪 there are no ATMS past security in the airport! Only currency exchange!

it’s very possible with the amount of wrong offices you can go to. There’s no official site that says you must go here. It’s a game of try and fail until you get it right
