TLDR : Answer Summary
The community discusses which dentists can provide DTV (Dental Treatment Visa) documents necessary for visa applications in Thailand. It is noted that having a dental project can facilitate obtaining required documents. However, some commenters mention that many embassies do not accept dental treatments as a valid reason for medical visas. A specific recommendation is made for Mahidol University Dental Hospital, which reportedly provides documents for dental work.

I got a crown done at a government dentist office, I need to do some more work and they said they would provide documents. Mahidol University Dental Hospital off the National Monument BTS stop.

Sign up for Muay Thai, easiest way to get a five-year visa. Cancel the course as soon as you get here

yes but me and my wife need dental work. Plus with two spine surgeries I can’t do muy Thai. I would only use it for 2 or 3 years as we have other long term plans

The muay thai application does seem to be the most concrete route to getting and (probably) maintaining the dtv. However, I think it's much better to attend the classes. They're great fun, albeit in a masochistic sort of way, and my body hasn't felt this energetic in a long time, even though I've been going to a normal gym for years.

Many embassies doesn't accept dentist as medical reason. So, better to choose another path.

probably need dental work that is spread over many months such as getting an implant then crown. I went through this process over last 2 years where first I had an extraction and then required a few months for jaw to heal. Next was the implant. It required a further few months for healing and strengthening before getting crown. Most other dental procedures can be done in short periods that can be done within visa exemption times

that's not true dental is one of the main ones used for medical treatment

In Vientiane Laos, they doesn't accept as a medical treatment for DTV. And many other embassies it's the same as I known from some reports.

that where I am going. I seen others post they use 6 month dental plan for DTV

Wrong approach. Choose the reason of the many to route for the visa based on reality. If you have a dental project you will receive all documents needed.

suggest the OP contact a Bangkok Hospital Dental Department and International Department of One of the Bangkok Hospitals for assistance.
