Got 90 day Non immigrant o visa.Arrived May 14th. Have 0 baht. Refused by 12 banks to open bank account. Had 7 agents working on it. Up until last week no one could help. UK passport holder. All banks said my non immigrant o visa was a tourist visa.

Difficult at the moment. I have to go back August to UK and come back October and try then. Off to Vietnam today see how life is there...

True. I have tried 12 banks and tried 6 agents. In Pattaya. I have 90 day Non immigrant o visa.And hoped to get the 1 year extension. Same answer. Cannot open bank account. And I do have the 0 baht.

Came Pattaya May 14th. UK passport holder. With Non immigrant o visa. Refused by 10 banks to open a bank account. Tried 6 agents they cannot help either. Some Banks said it was A a tourist visa, one said I needed 0 -A visa. Others said I need a 1 year visa. Needed 1 year rental contract and residence permit. I will come back November and try again.

Arrived with non immigrant o visa 14th May.Have long term rental agreement letter from hotel plus 4 months if receipts when i stayed there from November to mid March. So far refused by 9 banks to open bank account. Three said I had a tourist visa. One said I need a 1 year visa. Approached 4 agents who said they cannot help at this time.
