i opened my account legally last year but like many caught up in this have had account frozen until I present all the documentation that I presented on opening my account last year and had to present in June when I replaced my telephone. The closure happened without notice while I was in hospital. I've since been discharged but post surgery have mobility issues while I recover. I will be opening account elsewhere and changing bank Im not prepared to accept the treatment as a customer so I will vote with my feet

Why not apply for 90 day non O retirement visa at home before you come then just go to immigration to get 1 year extension of stay

thats counting 0 foreign students 0 backpackers Pacific Island Timor Leste workers. The big numbers spruiked in the media of late have come from arrival card data not immigration data the Australian Bureau of Statistics had a media release about this last week

yes it wasn't the best finding out i cant access my money till I get to bank with required documents which they already have, since June. I'm laying in hospital rent now in arrears as is water and electric won't be out of hospital for about a week after surgery tomorrow. I spoke to my branch and there is no exception. So I'll be banking with another bank before I get to BB
