In fact you need to get a Thai drivers license, after three months.

The international driver license is only valid the first 3 months then you have to get a Thai drivers license.

Be aware that there can be months waiting for getting a appointment for the Thai driver’s license.

Check with the local DLT office.

You got the bankaccount BEFORE you got the DTV, that is a huge difference.

Secondly you have a condo, and there by a permanent adress, which is the opposite of a digital nomed, who by definition is changing adress frequently.

In fact it is not up to you !

It is the obligation of the landlord / houseowner / hotel reception, to file the TM30, EVERYTIME a foreigner come staying at their premises.

The idea behind it, is that Immigration at any time know where any foreigner stay, so you also have to file it everytime you return to your own / girlfriend’s apartment / house.

It is not laborious to file the report, so be on the safe side and follow the law, when you return to your apartment.

Wait, wait wait, get visa, buy ticket.

Forget about chatgpt, read the Thai Embassy website instead, more reliable information.

No matter of the visa get rejected or granted, Embassy staff have done their work, and another try, another fee, since the Embassy staff has to do their work again.

Which you also would have known if you read the Thai Embassy website.

Pure language is not a option, you will most likely get a ED-visa, but pay for a DTV.

Travel insurance is best bought in your homecountry, since it then also covers repatriation and / or relatives to come to you if serious illness / accident etc.
