Hi everyone not sure if this has been asked before , I'm applying for the non o visa from Canada, regarding the financial evidence I been hearing different things. Do they want a1 month or 3 month bank statement showing the current balance does it have to be stamp and sign by the bank . Chat GPT also mentioned a bank letter of guarantee. I want to make sure I do this once and make sure it won't get rejected.

Also if your application gets rejected for some reason do you have to pay another $130 CDN to start a new visa. Thanks for any help

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on the financial documentation required for a Non-O visa application from Canada, specifically regarding the duration of required bank statements and whether these need to be signed by a bank representative. The conversation suggests that typically a one-month bank statement is sufficient, although some respondents mention the possibility of needing a three-month statement. Additionally, the user inquires about the fees associated with a rejected visa application, with several comments indicating that a new fee would be necessary if the application is declined. There is a strong recommendation for users to refer to the official Thai Embassy website for the most accurate and reliable information.

The requirements are a step-by-step process of applying for the e-visa.

When I didn’t send enough statements, they Emailed me to ask for more. But that was in the UK.

3 months bank statement.

The statement just has to show where ur getting ur income from, you can cover everything else in the statement.

We applied for our Visas from Canada. If something is incorrect with the info submitted they will ask for it to be corrected. They won't just reject you. The Embassy in Vancouver is very helpful too.

Forget about chatgpt, read the Thai Embassy website instead, more reliable information.

No matter of the visa get rejected or granted, Embassy staff have done their work, and another try, another fee, since the Embassy staff has to do their work again.

Which you also would have known if you read the Thai Embassy website.

Seems like Chat gpt is getting confused with the requirements if you apply for the non O inside Thailand.

There is no seasoning of funds requirement although they may ask for a 3 month statement. Canadian embassies are pretty chill. You can contact the embassy and ask what they require.

I believe they require a bank statement from the past month showing the funds. You can download the PDF then upload to the visa portal. No screenshots. Yes, one would need to pay the fee again should the app be declined. Visit the Ottawa or Vancouver Thai Embassy website rather than Chat GPT for accurate information.
