@Graham *****
read the post mate. My concern is about the application being rejected due to a lengthy history in Thailand. It's a genuine application with a university. But cheers for the snarky comment. 🙏

@Graham *****
the answer to that is 'yes.' what makes you question if I will?

The point is actually regarding which consulates are denying Ed visa applications at the moment, and to see if anyone has had recent success at a particular consulate.

thanks for the reply. I know all the requirements of the course etc. I'm just looking for personal experience of getting an Ed visa from outside, which consulates have been approving/declining recently.

Samui immigration told me it has to be 2 weeks before it finishes.

@Bonnie ********
Ed visas seem to be back on now. I know several people who are getting them.

I also recently got a 45 day exception, and I'd like to extend 30 days. Does history in Thailand matter, I.E. if you have been here too long they won't grant the extension. Been here 10 years, working 7 on nonb/extension of stay, few tourist and 2 years on a legitamate volunteer, 9 months eon education visa. UK passport. Thanks 🙏

you need to contact the agent who organized your volunteer visa mate, so they can provide your particular details to the IO. My agent didn't have a clue why there was a system error. They also don't know about a cancelation letter.
Mike *******
Just have your visa agent on hand to explain the details over phone.
