Same in USA. My enquiries via old tech like email & calls were answered by silence. I sent a FB message and got a complete reply in 2 hours. One reason is that anti-gov movement is spamming their emails addresses.

Just saw your comment! my reply: I know. If you were uber rich, you could take a private plane (airport closed? then seaplane). But, even if you were rich..the rich cannot be blamed. In my world view, some people will succed more than others. But the gov't shouldn't enable them via outright corruption or more commonly.... make stupid, unenforceable rules that don't work.

Oh, Ok. I thought you were going back home without seeing them. Sure, stay in Phuket as long as you want. Regarding trains in Thailand, I've never taken one, but my buddy did and he said it was great Thai Trip Update: I've made it as far as the gate at JFK -that's farthest I've got in over a year!

I have noticed that the gov't response, worldwide, to COVID19 (& every other crisis since day one) has been a positive event for people who have cash. Their lifestyle has barely been affected at worst and has improved for most (work from home, private plane charter, special visas, etc, etc.).

Oh I see, you brought him with you -excellent planning...with low tourist numbers, its probably hard to find a good man on the beach. Your flight commented terrified me, but then I realized that you are referring to domestic flights. You must somehow make it to Bangkok. I heard the train is great..if its running. Good luck.

Oh ya, this what I want I want hear! I'm leaving JFK for HKT tonight...my 6th attempt to enter Thailand. So, I have suffered more than most - that's why I love your "worth it" post. Wow! Finally an answer. Two lawyers I talked to do not know this. Thanks. I'll try going from branch to branch (old school + love riding my mtn bike in Phuket & banks are ice cold).
