I'm asking about the the1 year extension for the marriage visa I'm in Thailand on the 90 day non-O visa and it is unclear to me where I can just show immigration my bank book that shows I have been maintaining 400,000 thb my thai bank account. Do I need a letter from my thai Bank when I go to immigration for the 1 year extension?

Sue Heimchen How do you do your own on line? I created a account on the website and tried to do the TM 30 but did not have any luck getting a copy of the TM 30.

When I went to immigration to try to do it I was told it was responsibility of my landlord.

Any help would be great appreciated.

Apply for the right visa and if you plan to travel out of Thailand and back apply for multiple entry..

It is my understanding that some of the agencies will want to keep the official document so it's a just in case

My took 4 weeks for the Federal. I did 6 copy I assumed we would need more than 1 in Thailand.

They want arrive flight number, where you are staying and bank statement showing proof of funds.

You need your marriage certificate by your state and then certificate by the US State Department. Then certificate by Thailand and translated. Then you can register your marriage at the ambulate in Thailand.

My wife is thai and we got married in the US and we have done this with our marriage license. When we go back to Thailand we will get official translation done so we can register our marriage in Thailand.

We did this with several copies of the marriage license because I was told she may need them for changing her ID card, drivers license, Pass Port house papers, and name change.

Bangkok Bank asked the same thing. Just get a certificate copy of your passport at the Embassy. They put it in your file when you open your account. It's not a big deal.
