Good luck w that . My daughter from the US applied for a US passport . It showed up alright but a delivery truck ran over it . She paid $200 to expedite and then when she contacted them they asked her to pay again for the passport .
Russell Blake , I moved back home to Moorea / Tahiti . It would cost me $600 plus airline tickets to fly back to renew . Economically it's not sound . I'll just go there for vacation .
Very happy for you . I am due for an extension on my retirement in 5 months but I don't think I want to extend . I am out of the country , I'll just let it run its course .
Before moving , learn the law of Thailand first . Of course anyone can move to Thailand and I have also met a lot of expats that freelance and work under the table ( illegally ) . When Immigration showed up and they did once in a while they all scurried away like rats .
why pay an agent when you can get one for 500 baht is the expedited fee in order to obtain a letter from immigration and with that you can take it to the bank . I got one last year
I used this agency . There are others out there but this one you can trust . You can do it yourself thru the Thai Embassy Consulate from home , just gotta do tons of paperwork . I found this route easier .
last year in Bangkok . Due for renewal this year . I'll be out of the country for 6 months but will need to check in a month before it expire for renewal . I got multiple entry .
