Mine did the exact same thing and I was approved 😊 I think it’s just the process of it.

Anonymous participant 618 exactly the same thing happened to me. They didn’t offer me ANY solution or give me a cooling period. Just closed it, barely spoke to me and handed me all my cash. In and out in under 10 minutes. It was CRAZY. Took me weeks to understand why it even happened!

I literally just got roasted and ripped apart by all the old men in the Bangkok expat group for stating that this was happening to DTV holders. They’ve just all torn me to shreds claiming I’m speaking nonsense lol

so for example at centralworld and also my local tops. The carpark ONLY offers QR payment. So yes I understand managing 10 years without a bank account, but things change unfortunately, like the 2 above examples. The new apps is the whole purpose of the post, so it’s very helpful to a lot of people to be able to exchange information in this thread, and the answer unfortunately physically can’t be always “use cash”.

cash unfortunately isn’t any good in situations like shopping centre car parks where now it’s QR payment only.

Has anyone been / heard of anyone being rejected at the interview stage? I’m just getting nervous now! 🫠🫠🫠 my application was quite strong. The only request for documents I received when I submitted was a clearer photo. So I’m hoping that’s at least a good sign
