you don't need DTV for this the ed visa may allow you to teach as well there are a few options check with the local thai embassy for guidance.

That depends on your reason I know alpt of people go medical route to treat something keep a few appointments and their good ... wanting to learn culture.. language cooking martial arts ed visa ( more expensive)

DTV is your best bet and cheapest route. Investment doesn't qualify for the 500k baht requirement.

There are other stipulations for this such as soft power training as well

You can own 100% of a building just 49% of the land its on.. so you can buy a whole condo in a building too 100%

yeah I didn't think it was strange. In the 2 years I been planning my trip well 3 years alot of development over the years. I was held up by my divorce took too long

there was a notice the Thai government was wanting to limit the visa exempt status to 30 days. I come to find out alot ofnthings come out that never happen. I honestly don't think they are going to risk their tourist income like that
