I had a friend who didn’t do 90 day report and he left the country. Will he have an issue coming back? Shouldn’t they have pulled him up at immigration when leaving and possibly give him a fine or something?

I have a DTV. Been here for years and done many 90 day reports online. This is my first time with the DTV. Do I still need to go to immigration in person even though I already have done online reporting before? (Seeing this would be the first time with a DTV)

If I have more than 500,000 THB in my bank account and I want to apply for the DTV visa, will I be asked to show for proof of monthly income? Does it even ask for proof of income? I’m getting mixed answers so I need to clarify.

Good afternoon

I am currently travelling up to Suvanabumi to fly out tonight

I am on a 30 day extension.

Would I be correct in thinking I cannot use the e gates for departure as although the extension is stamped clearly enough there has been nothing electronically changed to the passport at the Hua Hin Blueport Immigration office ?

Many thanks

Hi guy's.

I'm 46, unemployed as I don't need to work anymore.

I want to apply for the DTV visa.

I have a Thai bank account with the 500k.

I have the letter from the Muay Thai school for 1 yr that I attend every day.

I have a 1 yr rental contract for my apartment.

I've seen from lots of different people's post's that they asK for proof of employment etc.

I obviously can't provide that as I'm retired.

Has anyone else applied in my situation?

Thank you for any feedback.

Hi everyone!

I got approved in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam last week! ✅

I submitted on March 30th, the evening when I arrived to Vietnam. Got requested additional documents on April 1st (Missing 6 month statement from my Wise account)

It went on pending approval on April 8th.

Due to personal reasons, I decided to board on my flight back to Thailand on April 9th while my visa status was still pending — and then I received the approval on April 16th!

Now I’m wondering: once the visa is approved, how long do you have before you *need* to ente Thailand and “activate” it / aka get the stamp in your passport?

I'm currently here on a tourist visa (only the second stamp in my passport) and planning to go to Europe for 5 weeks on March 22nd. I’d ideally enter Thailand again on July 1st, which would be about 1.5 months after the visa was approved.

SO MY QUESTION IS:

👉 Is there an expiration or time limit on when you need to enter the country after visa approval?

Would love to hear from anyone who’s had a similar experience or knows more infos about this.

Thank you so much in advance 💛

I am so grateful for this group that helped me to get all the documents for this process ready!

Do all documents need to be in thai or translated to thai language? Do they need to be officially translated or can it be done using google translate? I plan to apply in savanakhette.
