If I have more than 500,000 THB in my bank account and I want to apply for the DTV visa, will I be asked to show for proof of monthly income? Does it even ask for proof of income? I’m getting mixed answers so I need to clarify.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement for proof of monthly income when applying for a DTV visa in Thailand varies by embassy. Generally, if you hold more than 500,000 THB in your bank account, you may not need to show proof of income. Some embassies might require it, while others do not, and having additional funds can be beneficial. There are also distinctions between hard power and soft power DTV visa applications, which may further influence the documentation required.

Be careful 🙏 in my group soft power applicants in Vietnam were asked for monthly income

If you do hard power DTV visa they might ask you.(Depends on embassy)

If you do soft power DTV visa you just need the savings.

Some embassies ask for a monthly income, some do not. They just want you to have 500,000 THB and it's always good to show you have additional funds too.
