Good afternoon

I am currently travelling up to Suvanabumi to fly out tonight

I am on a 30 day extension.

Would I be correct in thinking I cannot use the e gates for departure as although the extension is stamped clearly enough there has been nothing electronically changed to the passport at the Hua Hin Blueport Immigration office ?

Many thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether they can use the e-gates for departure, given their 30-day visa extension, which is stamped in their passport but may not be electronically updated. The comments clarify that it is indeed possible to use the e-gates for departure, as the system accommodates extensions without requiring electronic updates.

They are directing everyone to egates, my experience on Sunday. If you have issues there are IOs to manually stamp

You just go where directed. At E gates its scan passport, scan fingerprints and look at camera
