they could yes, but many don't, they would sooner pay someone to sort it for them rather than start taking loans against assets out, money is a tool to be used to make life easier, just saying, not everyone who uses an agent is doing so because they can't afford to live here

alot of people with money don't have ฿

0 cash just sitting in a bank account, people use their cash and get rid of it to buy assets, not many have over a couple of hundred thousand baht in their accounts but have millions in assets

Just get a bank account, easy enough, if you struggle then just pay an agent, well worth it if you're going to be here long term
