TLDR : Answer Summary
This post provides detailed information regarding the requirements and application process for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. It outlines necessary documents, including a financial statement, proof of employment, and relationship evidence for dependents. The processing time is indicated as two working days, with a fee of 340 USD. The post also addresses related questions and comments from community members for clarity, including requirements for financial statements and the need for original certificates.
The $500k THB must be deposited in a Thai bank for statement review before you apply fir the DTV? Or are they reviewing your foreign (non-Thai) bank account statements?
2 days processing time is crazy good. Did they ask anyone to authenticate the work contract? Quite a significant extra step that Canadian Thai embassy requested
Hello. For the Spouse and Dependent Children, the list says "a copy" of the marriage/birth certificate - does anyone know if that means they accept high-quality copies, or do they require to see the originals? TIA
I would guess they look at ending balance maybe beginning. But if required 6 months which is more than other embassy each statement should have 500,000 per the requirement
I’m currently in Thailand can I book an appointment fly to Ho Chi Minh stay a couple of days while they hopefully process visa then fly back to Thailand?
