I don’t post much in this group, but I’ve been reading everything for the past month or so—and I just want to say thank you to the community.
I finally got my DTVI. I flew into Hanoi on July 8th and got the visa on July 18th.
No extra documents were requested. Here’s what I submitted ahead of time:
* Hotel confirmation
* Entry stamp
* Cash App statements from the last three months
* Business registration
* EIN
* Articles of organization
* Receipt from registering my business
* Client portfolio showing the actual work I do
* A work letter from myself, since I own Tony Destin LLC (to be honest, I had ChatGPT help write it)
That’s it.
I know a lot of people have been trying to go the Muay Thai visa route, but I avoided that since there’s been a bunch of issues with it lately. I came in on the workation path, and it ended up being pretty straightforward.

The section where it ask your permanent address do I put the hotel in Hanoi or my Thailand address?? because later it asks for my flight details and address in Thailand .
You may have to show PROOF of your DTV Visa to airline staff on check-in for your flight ✈️ to Thailand...even to the connecting airline staff. Or to the land border crossing entry Thai Immigration Officer.
Upon arrival into Thailand, show the DTV visa to the Thai Immigration Officer and look at the STAMP placed in your passport to be sure you are STAMPED in for 180 days.
Watch out for London Thai embassy mistakes. Check the remark section on your e-visa, mine had written in thai that i was going to meet my child in an international school. I don't have a child. Now in Thailand and my non O visa has been rejected for extension. I have to now leave Thailand and start the whole process again.
Make a copy of your visa in A6 format and have it laminated. After that, it's super easy to travel every six months. Also, get yourself a retractable cane that you carry in your backpack so you can access the Priority Line and avoid long waits when returning to Thailand.
