Update on application. They accepted my application and have an under consideration stamp in my passport , will have a visit to the house on the weekend by the IO and I should go back to the office in 6 weeks hopefully to get the extension stamp, thanks all for your input ,

I did attend the office to ask that very question the day after I arrived and he gave me 3 options , 1 was the 400 k seasoned in the bank , 2 was the affidavit letter from the embassy , which is not an option in my case and 3 the monthly international transfers , I have learnt that they can tell you one thing and the next day it’s something different that’s why I posted this and that’s why I’m going back today to ask , I will post their requirements today after I return

Thanks everyone for your comments ,if this thread could stay open to at least tomorrow so that I can inform the group after I have attended the immigration office and add what the Buriram's office instructions were.

Thank you Ellie yes I did mean 12 months of bank transfers , I had to let my Non o extension lapse while I was outside Thailand I have been doing this extension for the last 5 years ,I will visit the office for further information tomorrow

0 thb that needs to be in a thai bank for 2 months prior have to be deposited from abroad or can it be deposited locally ?

Buriram office wants the bank letter on the day you apply as well as the same day Amphur marriage confirmation .

I understand , a mistake made and in Thai style and can't admit it it seems , But at least you can still travel to Thailand
