Is it acceptable to use a bank approval letter that is a few days old for a Non O retirement visa extension in Thailand?

I used the Kasikorn bank branch at the basement just a week ago when I did my yearly extension.

So definitely business as usual.

However keep in mind that the queue to issue the letter can take quite some time (could be any number of people before you, and those counters are for lengthy bank stuff). For peace of mind come early enough before your appointment.

I needed to use this branch on the day itself, because I use a fixed deposit account. Thus I can't use ATM update - unless it's on the same date of a auto-renewal of a fixed deposit.

I just called Kasikorn Bank and they said they do have an office there and it IS open for business from 8:30-3:30

I tried to call them direct but can't get thru sorry

there was one but it was closed for covid infection then I don't know if it re-opened opened or not 😕

there is no need to get the bank letter the same day you are applying for an extension at Chaengwattana because they accept a letter up to 7 days old (I know this for a fact)

AND

The banks in the basement don't open until the same time the immigration office does. SO you can't get in line for immigrations early, THEN go get a bank letter.. 😕

AND I'd never go on a monday without an appointment because it's a mad house there usually on mondays and fridays
