Weird thing is, they only asked for a "screen shot" printed out, which could just as easily be forged. I did them one better and gave them my phone so they could forward the email to themselves and print it out.
I understand why the Thai government is nervous. I can alter that letter to include anyone's name and passport information in minutes, even on a tablet, and so could most people if they wanted.
The article covered how the visa would be used for "arriving" visitors, (quarantine, etc.) but does anyone know whether it would be available for tourists already in country?
