So what ended up happening is I had to go to the overstay counter. And they took pictures of it. Sent it to jomtiem. Then called and John TM admitted to the mistake. They resent my passport for the 19th of September. And then let me through with no fine. Took about 20 minutes
Here is my experience. SFO to BKK. With Eva airline. I went online and applied for a 60 day visa from the Thai embassy in Los Angeles. It takes about 20 days so don't apply at the minute. My ticket April 27th return September 19th. Eva is not going to ask about a visa to Thailand as a US citizen you get one on arrival. When going through immigration at BKK they never asked about a return ticket. After 60 days I paid for a 30 day visa extension for 1900 BHT. Now I needed to leave Thailand when that expired. I booked a round trip flight to ho chi Minh city. When leaving Vietnam at the check in counter they want to see a bought ticket leaving Thailand. I pulled it up on my phone and showed my Eva flight leaving the 19th of September. I believe they would have not let me board the flight back to Thailand without a ticket showing me leaving Thailand in the future. At immigration in BKK the officer did ask me when I was leaving Thailand. When I told him September 19th he asked how I was going to do that on a 30 day visa when the 19th is 60 days away. I explained that I would get a visa extension. He shook his head and stamped my passport.
Keep in mind that if you drive a motorbike in Thailand your IDF has to be for a motorbike. and AAA would only give me one. They only gave me a car one since I did not have a California motorcycle license.
need an account for retirement visa. But will get the visa next trip but wanted the account now since the baht is weak. 34.55 to the dollar. Seems like a good time to buy 800k
All right. Just arrived at the airport and immigration never asked to see an onward ticket. So now I have my 60 days. Also no wine whatsoever at the airport immigration
