 Many thanks Tod for your swift response. How did I forget to mention our one year old daughter. Can you force a problem with a Non O visa for her too. We have brought her to Thailand twice already on tourist visa with no problem. Have birth certificate etc.

How long must I keep 400k in the bank after my marriage extension approval in Thailand, and can my monthly pension from TransferWise be used for the second year?

There may be a way round this as alluded to in a post above but just be careful with Transferwise transfers as they do not record as International transfers as friends of mine have found out.
