If one were to base their travel decisions on the US state department recommendations, they would legit never leave the US, even pre-covid. I find it best to just ignore them completely.
I have flown Qatar 6 times out of JFK since March 2020. Never once had an issue with them. I can also flat out guarantee they didn't turn anyone away without a valid reason. You're just being a drama queen.

I seriously can't believe Thailand decided to extend the quarantine to 14 days again. Makes no sense. Guess I'll just use my b211a and go to Indonesia instead I can't do another 15 days.
yeah I just got rejected so I guess I'll have to do the 14 days 😔 They rejected me because my insurance policy doesn't explicitly state that it covers covid, except it does explicitly state that (I even highlighted it) and I got approved with this exact same policy in March. Its almost like they just didn't want me to get the COE before the deadline lol.
