TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers on the possibility of lifting quarantine restrictions in Thailand by October for individuals vaccinated against COVID-19. Comments suggest that the outcome depends on the success of the Phuket sandbox initiative, with the best-case scenario indicating potential changes by July for Phuket and October for Bangkok, although there is uncertainty due to rising case numbers.
The current plan best case scenario is July 1 for Phuket and oct 1 for Bangkok, no quarantine if vaccinated. Neither is finalized yet, and cases are making all time highs by the day so no promises.
they are vaccinating still and even foreigners now so they are trying. But until in Royal Gazette I would not count on it. I am also not sure how they will react if they open sandbox and then find the virus... I would love to go myself but I am skeptical at best right now :)
I get it but just try to observe if the Phuket opening happens and then make a decision based on that outcome. But I have problems seeing more densely populated areas opening up soon like BKK.
