I’m due to fly on the 19th, it’s too early to worry about it now, the airport may be back open by then, if not then I suppose it’s cancel your flight, hopefully get a refund and rebook a flight that avoids that area

Can you apply for a Digital Work Visa (DTV) if you do FIFO work in Thailand?

I do similar work in England (I mean the work on and off, ) my employer wrote me a letter that said that some of my work is remote. Which isn’t lying but it literally is taking a few phone calls and the occasional teams meeting.

Can I get a certificate of residence on a DTV visa to purchase a car in Thailand?

Yes I got one last week from korat immigration. When I tried last year they said I couldn’t on a DTV but this time I just had to wait until I’d done a 90 day report. They also gave me a certificate of residence to get a driving licence which I got the next day.
