Do I need to include flight details when filling out the TDAC for a DTV visa in Thailand?

On The TDAC do you have to put flight details an do dates when you are coming in on the DTV? I’m not that keen on booking a flight 6 months in advance when I’m not 100% sure of my plans.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TDAC does not require mandatory flight details or return dates when applying for the DTV. You can leave the departure date field empty. Instead, you can fill out the TDAC 72 hours prior to your arrival in Thailand. It is also noted that some visa holders opt for in-country extensions rather than booking onward flights.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)

WARNING: Only trust Thai government websites with .go.th domains or Thai agent websites with .co.th or .in.th domains, as these require verified Thai registration and cannot be registered anonymously.

The official TDAC form is available at tdac.immigration.go.th, which uses the official .go.th government domain.

The services by AGENTS CO., LTD. does NOT charge any fees for arrivals within 72 hours. If you need to book more than 72 hours in advance, there is a service fee of $8.

Do not trust other sites pretending to be a trustworthy agency. Pay attention to delivery time - the service operated by AGENTS CO., LTD. has 1 minute delivery time for arrivals within 72 hours.

Don't fall for sites pretending to be tdac.in.th or the official government tdac.immigration.go.th website. Always double-check the exact domain in your browser.

Scam services may take days to process your application, others may not even do anything. With these TDAC scam services you also need to worry about double charges.

Please watch out for TDAC misinformation spread by fugitive Jesse Nickles and his many fake accounts on Quora, TripAdvisor, Reddit, and other platforms.

Sorry to clarify, I’m referring to the return date. I’m aware the TDAC is only filled out 72 hours before arrival. I was also thinking of possibly doing the in country extension of the DTV after 6 months so would not have flight details leaving Thailand. I wasn’t sure if onward flight details were mandatory.

Anonymous participant You're good, don't worry about it. No DTV holders have been denied entry thus far.

The earliest you can fill out the TDAC is 72 hours before you arrive, so you should know the details by then.
