what if you don't do it? And you already exited the country after few months?

: if you exited the country before 90 days then you don't need to do a 90-day report.

as I rented condo for 6 months, isn't the landlord to notify my staying to immigration office?
Neil ******
@Ross ********
thats the tm30 that your landlord or hotel should do. The 90 day reporting is compulsory for everyone, regardless off visa type

ok good to know:) next time I will remember it even if I don't understand what it is for, if you get visa for 5 years why you need to report you stay more than 90 days?
Brandon ************
@Ross ********
why? Because it's the law

@Brandon ***********
of course but what is useful for? Gov allows you to stay 5 years so obviously you stay more than 90 days.
Graham ******
@Ross ********
you cannot stay for 5 years, 180 day entry stamp and only one extension so you must leave at least every 360 days
Brandon ************
@Ross ********
because they want to know WHERE you are staying

@Brandon ***********
so they should want to know also where you stay for 89 days:)

it's to report when you've been in the country 90 days. A 5 year DTV you could enter and leave after less than 90 days but if you don't, then you report your stay.
Neil ******
@Ross ********
probably not, but i think the fine is only 1000 baht for late reporting.
