thanks so much for updates, much appreciated. Does the extension until 31 July also apply to those who have METV and have extended once for 30 days? (In my case until end May)

What is the purpose of the new immigration form for extending visas in Chiang Mai?

I agree. I once went to get an extension on my METV because I wanted to go to the islands for a 3 months and an agent came out to personally ask if I knew that I didn't need an extension because I already had another month on my option to stay, so I didn't need to spend the money. They were just being thoughtful.

one of the reasons they’ve given for the embargo on flights until 30th is so they have time to prepare government quarantine accommodation. So ai think it’s safe to assume anyone entering will be subject to 14 day quarantine
