The Thai embassy in each country needs to apply for "Repatriation" special permit and arrange charter flight back.

The first flight from Taiwan will be arranged on this 21 April.

Things would be a lot easier if they refunded our money so we could use it to re book until we got one that was successful,

You could book with them. Then they can refuse to give you a refund.

You could chat with AVA who can't answer a phone.
