Advice from a fellow aussie, get the 90day Non O from the embassy in Sydney!!!

(makes live a whole lot easier here in Thailand - and will probably save you some coin and headache)

a lot of visas are not possible online

yes, KL still does next day. Penang changed it as of this week Monday 5th

I was trying to apply in Surat Thani and contacted them upfront. They told me to do it in Samui as my “local” office… and Samui doesnt really want to do it or makes it super hard

Is 40,000 baht a fair price for a Non-O visa and extension in Thailand?

unfortunately that doesn’t apply to either Samui or Phangan immigration.

They are asking a lot more documents etc - meaning, making it extremely hard for anyone NOT using an agent
