so unfortunately it seems like Americans applying on the E visa within America have to provide tax documents, or at least some Americans. Strange. I wonder if Thailand has a tax plan in Thailand for those that are on this visa?

yes I know I’m just curious which one he used, I’d have to use L.A., and the requirements can change on location. In either case I’m now leaning towards to Taiwan to get it done quickly without excessive irs tax paperwork nonsense

My follow up question would be, if I applied in Taiwan would they still ask for tax returns and other nonsense extra documents?
