How does leaving Thailand affect the counting of the 90-day reporting requirement for expats?

An entry stamp is the same as a 90-day check-in. So the next one is needed 90 days after you last entered Thailand.

 it can be an issue if you're nowhere near an immigration office. I've never got the on-line check-in to work.
