Do I need to show 500k baht for a DTV application as a spouse if my husband is the primary applicant?

I have read from here (not personal experience) that the first spouse will only need to issue a letter confirming he/she is sponsoring the second spouse's application, there is no need for each spouse to have 500k bhats.
