Has anyone compiled a spreadsheet of consulates and documents for DTV approval?

I remember when this group started, there was someone that was putting together a spreadsheet of all the consulates and qualifying documents for them to approve the DTV.

Did anyone end up doing that?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation reflects on whether a community effort resulted in a spreadsheet detailing all consulates and the necessary documents for the Digital Tourist Visa (DTV) approval. While there were some inquiries about such a spreadsheet, participants noted that the changing requirements and documentation by embassies and consulates made it difficult to create and maintain. There are mentions of the E-Visa system potentially streamlining this process in the near future.

Yeah they're forever moving the goal posts... πŸ™„πŸ«€

But I think or heard most will be on the E-Visa online application system before too long or early in the New Year...

*So the relevant info should be on each Embassy or consulates website once on-board with E-Visa process etc

it is unfortunate that things keep changing, but I feel having a resource for people to reference when they come here would be great.

Going to get in touch with the admins.

I don't think anyone did it yet, some people were asking for one but everyone else said to wait until the visa had been around longer. The embassies and consulates have been constantly changing the requirements and documentation requested so it would be hard to maintain.

think I’m going to create a spreadsheet, and see if the admins can pin it. Think it’ll be a very helpful resource for those that come here with questions.

Good of you to take it on and hope it works out! I think it's going to be a hell of a project considering every embassy is different, every situation is also different. Will you leave it open for anyone to update? Keep the core information for each embassy locked and allow people to add specific situations? Keep a section for each embassy for each category? Will it be updated frequently? Will be interesting to see how it works out.

Aside from Laos, the others haven't really moved their goalposts too much. It's possible to maintain such a database and update it when changes occur.

it's been all over the place for months but hopefully the implementation of the e-visa in more countries will streamline it somewhat.

Yes, true. Consulates are moving to the e-visa system, one by one. Only a small handful are left, that have yet to move over.

Laos will be among the last, but even they will move to e-visas (I've asked them and they said it will happen, but they don't have a specific date yet).
