What is the process for obtaining a DTV in Jakarta and how can I apply while on a tourist visa?
Thank you very much to the people in this group who helped us to get our DTV approved🥳🥳 We got it in Jakarta and if there is anyone who is planning to go there before they switch to evisa later this month and has questions, let me know and I will try to respond. Generally, it is very smooth and the people there are very nice so I would definitely recommend it if you are in the area.
Answer summary
A user shared their successful experience obtaining a DTV at the Thai embassy in Jakarta, highlighting the smooth process and helpful staff. They mentioned the impending switch to e-visas and offered assistance for those planning to go to Jakarta. Several comments asked about the timeline for the e-visa switch and whether it was possible to apply for a DTV while on a tourist visa.
